Cocoa powder is the most common form of pure cacao solids.
Cocoa butter and cocoa solids are the two main fractions of cocoa mass and chocolates. They are separated from one another when the cocoa mass is melted down to cocoa liquor.
There is such a high demand for cocoa powder in Asia right now that the opposite fraction, cocoa butter, is dirt cheap.
