A florentina con cajeta individually wrapped cookie made for mass consumption by PepsiCo. Using the brand Gamesa, PepsiCo offers florentinas in flavors such as chocolate, strawberry, and something similar to a s’more with marshmallow.
The floretina pictured here contains cajeta. Cajeta refers to a thickened syrup made from caramelized milk and sugar. In Mexico the source animal for cajeta is cow, but here in Colombia cajeta refers to a syrup made from goats milk.
Because the distribution of this cookie spans Latin America, cajeta here likely refers to cows milk caramel syrup.
This particular cookie was eaten and drawn in the design firm Dupla’s first office in northern Bogotá, Colombia.
