Lulos are weird. They have the skin of a shark and quadriradial symmetry. Their outside is a bright orange, but their insides are a bright green.
They’re delicious though.
They are usually combined with water to be consumed as a drink after being scooped out of their thin, but strong skin.
These two lulos were from the Carulla in the Nogal barrio in Bogotá. As Carulla is an omnipresent, upscale chain in Colombia, they are not hard to find in any of the affluent neighborhoods.
